Coolors allows you to explore trending palettes or create your own. To start, you need to run the generator by clicking on the start button – a random palette will open. You can save the colors, copy the hue code or export the palette. To call another pattern, just click on the spacebar.

With additional settings you can adjust colors, create gradients, extract colors from photos, and more.

In addition to the web service, Coolors has mobile apps, an extension for Chrome and Adobe, and a plugin for Figma.

In the free version you can create palettes of up to five colors, use ready-made schemes, save up to five colors and ten palettes. The pro-version without advertising costs $3 a month. It significantly expands the functionality and will be useful to those who work with colors every day.

Once you enter the site, you get a random pattern of five colors. Press the space bar to generate random palettes. If you like one of the colors, click on it to commit. Keep pressing the space bar and fixing the colors until you get the right combination. Now hover over one of the colors, and change the color settings if necessary.

There’s another cool feature of this service that we can’t not tell you about. You can upload a photo, and Coolors will decompose it into a color palette, which you can then edit.

By the way, the service is also available on smartphones.
